Yuletide Gnome

This little guy wanted to remind you that Christmas is just around the corner!

November socks

First a fun pair for my niece. She was Christened last Sunday and I decorated her package with the socks. They were a hit :) They are cute as can be with a short leg with a rolled brim and K2 P2. The foot is knitted in garter stitch. I will knit these socks again for sure!

Patter: Booties from "Not Just Socks"

Yarn: Regia Ringel Color

Needles: Crystal Palace US1 (2,25mm)

CO-Finished: 21 November - 23 November 2006

Then there's the next pair. They are going to be given away for Christmas. I hope the receiptient will like them! These are really a pair for Socktober but I was too lazy forgot to post about them.

Pattern: Yarrow Ribbed Socks from "Knitting Vintage Socks"

Yarn: Opal Zebra from the Rainforest 1 collection

Needles: Panda 2,5mm

CO-Finished: 26 September - 27 October

I'm kind of proud of the next pair! They are my first pair of socks that I designed myself. Yes, it's a simple ribbed design but I like ribbing and I especially like when the cuff and leg has complimentary ribbing (can I call it that?). Holler if anybody fancy a copy of the pattern.

Pattern: Quickstep

Yarn: Trekking XXL 105 (oh, I love it)

Needles: CP US1

CO-Finished: 25 October - 10 November

The last pair today is yet anothe pair for my baby niece Sara. She needed a pair of long and warm socks for the winter and Auntie Eva to the rescue - LOL!

Pattern: Class Sock from "Sensational Knitted Socks"

Yarn: Lana Grossa Meilenweit Colortweed 1004

Needles: 3mm

CO-Finished: 22 October - 3 November
