I am happy to send them to you and I would love to see pics of your finished bookmarks if possible.

What I am trying to say is that if you would like a copy of my patterns, please send me an e-mail to eva@x3m.com and I will send it to you. I am not in a blogging mood so do not expect any updates here in the forseeable future.

Take care,
EvaEvahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13762158613714882122noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6552222352370172846.post-28605689964949581662007-02-18T12:08:00.000-08:002007-02-18T12:33:46.272-08:00It is time for mittensAnd mittens I am knitting! Still no photos but I am working on it. I need to get a USB cable as I´m working on the iBook and all the others are in use on the "big" one this household´s computer geek is using. But still.

My youngest son doesn´t want to wear mittens on his way to the Kindergarten and on short trips. Only when he´s out playing in the snow he think they´re OK. So I thought he might like a pair of fingerless mitts. And it so happens that he does!!! And he is eager to wear them too! My oldest also liked them so I finished his pair this evening. They are both knitted with . I have also knitted a pair in Opal Flamingo for one of David´s friends that also have a problem with wearing mittens. She will get them tomorrow.

OK, I´ll admitt it. I´m kind of intense when I get interested in something. The advantage is that I learn how to do it pretty fast. I am stubborn as well :) And I like to buy books on the subject. I already have gotten Folk Knitting in Estonia by Nancy Bush and have a couple on order. Nothing wrong enhancing my library, right? I have decided that I want to learn stranded colorwork. Especially (right now, solely) in mittens. I want to learn how to knit Latvian mittens!

I am knitting my second Selbu mitten right now. The first one is puckered in some places and loose in others. But I love it all the same. It´s my first dabble in stranded knitting. The second is looking a bit better. I will wear my mittens proud! My plan is to finish the second one this coming week. Stay tuned for a photo (and a USB cable).

Did I mention my so far lonely glove?Evahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13762158613714882122noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6552222352370172846.post-86606624259274004712007-02-06T11:31:00.000-08:002007-02-06T11:35:56.739-08:00Please be patient :)My blog has not disappeared. I am in the mids of changing over to Blogger but the thought of moving each and every entry (incl. photos) from my old blog has me left in a good for nothing haze. So I have decided that I will not move the old entries here. They will be lost.

For all of you that have been looking for my patterns, please be patient. She was Christened last Sunday and I decorated her package with the socks. They were a hit :) They are cute as can be with a short leg with a rolled brim and K2 P2. The foot is knitted in garter stitch. I will knit these socks again for sure!

Patter: Booties from "Not Just Socks"

Yarn: Regia Ringel Color

Needles: Crystal Palace US1 (2,25mm)

CO-Finished: 21 November - 23 November 2006

Then there's the next pair. They are going to be given away for Christmas. I hope the receiptient will like them! These are really a pair for Socktober but I was too lazy forgot to post about them.

Pattern: Yarrow Ribbed Socks from "Knitting Vintage Socks"

Yarn: Opal Zebra from the Rainforest 1 collection

Needles: Panda 2,5mm

CO-Finished: 26 September - 27 October

I'm kind of proud of the next pair! They are my first pair of socks that I designed myself. Yes, it's a simple ribbed design but I like ribbing and I especially like when the cuff and leg has complimentary ribbing (can I call it that?). Holler if anybody fancy a copy of the pattern.

Pattern: Quickstep

Yarn: Trekking XXL 105 (oh, I love it)

Needles: CP US1

CO-Finished: 25 October - 10 November

The last pair today is yet anothe pair for my baby niece Sara.
